February 3, 2017
Fox 59 reports on tourist growth in Hamilton County. The report shows that tourism grew by 11.9 percent in 2015, according to Rockport Analytics' annual economic impact report. The growth is influencing the number of hotels, restaurants, and businesses around Hamilton County. In fact, over the next three years it is anticipated that the number of hotel rooms will increase from 3,100 to more than 5,000. The growth is, in large part, due to the opening of Grand Park, but this development helps businesses all around the county, not just in Westfield. With new projects planned for Carmel and the other cities in Hamilton County, tourism is sure to continue to rise.
