Ivy Tech President shares school's strategic plan at OneZone luncheon

Dr. Sue Ellspermann, Ivy Tech President, will speak at the February OneZone Luncheon on Aligning Workforce Needs with Education.

This is a hot topic in hiring as our economic development requires an available and educated workforce that meets the needs of employers. So, the state of Indiana has adopted a big goal - increase the proportion of adult Hoosiers with quality education and training beyond high school to 60% of the state's population by 2025.

The monthly luncheon is Wednesday, February 21 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Ritz Charles. Cost is $25 for members and $35 for non-members.

Ellspermann will share how her college's new five-year strategic plan aligns education with the needs of the workforce - present and future - and how Ivy Tech is working with the state and its community partners to determine how to connect employers with the workforce they need.
