Someday is Today, join CHS junior in fight against blood cancer
Connor Bednarski, a Junior at Carmel High School. is participating in the Student of the Year Campaign sponsored by the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS).
He constantly shows his passion for helping others and giving back to
the local community. In a period of 7 weeks, which began on January 25,
Connor is on a campaign to raise a total of $50,000.
The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS) will use the funds raised to finance
research for new treatments and to support those fighting blood cancer and
their families. Since 1949, LLS has contributed more than $1,000,000,000 to
patients and research alike.
To help in reaching his goals, your contributions are needed. Here's what your assistance can do - help children like local survivors Jillian and Maddox.
Jillian was diagnosed at the age of 2 with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL). She has spent more than 800 days in active
chemotherapy and is currently in remission.
Maddox was also diagnosed with ALL at the age of 3 and continues to receive treatment. Without the LLS, patients like Maddox and Jillian would not have received the support
they need.
With your help, with people like Connor's help, we can work together to find a cure for blood cancer. Please consider donating at Connor's campaign page.
There you can learn more about his passion for helping others and about the mission of the LLS.
"I want to thank you in advance for your donation. It means a great deal to me that you chose to support my campaign and these survivors" - Conner Bednarski.
