CPD hires new officers

The Carmel Police Department has added four new officers.

From Left to Right, Officer Paul Meehan, Officer Tyler Brammer-Wolf, Chief James Barlow, Officer Dave Commodore & Officer Charlee Pelzel.

New Officer Paul J. Meehan attended Norwich University in Northfield, Vermont where he obtained a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Criminology. Paul was a police officer with the Everett Police Department in Everett, WA for the last 6 years. Paul is also in the U.S. Army Reserves where he holds the position of Assistant Operations Officer (Captain).

Dave A. Commodore attended Tesst College of Technology in Baltimore, MD where he obtained an Associates Degree of Applied Science in Network Information Systems. Dave also served as a Marion County reserve deputy for nearly four years and he serves in the Army National Guard as a reserve.

Tyler J. Brammer-Wolf attended IUPUI where he obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice with a concentration in Public Safety Management. Tyler completed the Law Enforcement Academy at Indiana University, Bloomington in August of 2014. Tyler was previously employed full time with Eskenazi Health in Indianapolis as a security officer and deputy sheriff.

Charlee R. Pelzel attended IUPUI where he obtained a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Criminal Justice. Charlee also completed the Law Enforcement Academy at Indiana University, Bloomington in August of 2014. Charlee was a police officer with the Peru Police Department in Peru, Indiana for nearly 3-years.
