Andretti Autosport to showcase ‘Military to Motorsports’ replica at International Arts Fest

The Carmel International Arts Festival is pleased to announce a new attraction at the upcoming two-day, September 22-23 event in Carmel – Andretti Autosport will stage its MILITARY TO MOTORSPORTS replica car at the event to raise awareness for this important program for veterans.

The replica car will be placed near unique military art project being presented by Primrose School on Range Line Road, just north of Main Street, in the heart of the Carmel Arts & Design District. The Carmel International Arts Festival runs Saturday, September 22 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday, September 23 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Primrose students are working on three different patriotic-themed art projects for small patrons between the age of 2 and 12. They will have the opportunity to write a “thank you message” on the project or attach a little note card to the project for our military servicemen and servicewomen.

Launched by racing legend Michael Andretti, Military to Motorsports provides the most qualified United States Armed Forces veterans with the opportunity to utilize their skill sets within a role working at Andretti Autosport or within their Extended Network of sponsor partners and industry affiliates.

Andretti, the leader of Andretti Autosport since 2003, serves as the company’s chairman and chief executive officer. Andretti leads his businesses with the same focus and determination he showed behind the wheel of a race car.

Since retiring full-time driving, Michael has worked tirelessly to build Andretti Autosport into a global racing powerhouse across multiple disciplines. With successful entries in the Verizon IndyCar Series, FIA Formula E, Indy Lights, and Rallycross and through Walkinshaw Andretti United in Australia Supercars, the common thread throughout has always been the strength of his people and team members behind the scenes.

With the help of retired Navy Seal Team Member and Andretti Autosport chassis owner, David Tilton, Michael’s purpose in launching Military to Motorsports is to give back to our nation’s Armed Services by hiring the most qualified Military Veterans to join Andretti Autosport or its Extended Network, adding their value and expertise to Andretti’s winning legacy.
