A Lantz Design to open at Carmel City Center

Carmel City Center is excited to announce that A Lantz Design will relocate to the Baldwin & Chambers building in Carmel City Center later this month. Moving just down the street from the Indiana Design Center, the new location in the Baldwin & Chambers building will expand and offer retail, art and design services.

Lead designer and owner, Amanda Lantz, grew up watching her father—designer and artist, Barry Lantz, work with clients to create their dream home environments. In 2015, Amanda bought the business and continues to work with her father while they expand the offerings of A Lantz Design to clients, and now to the public. Barry oversees the art and fabric division of the company and will launch an art collection with SoicherMarin at High Point market in Fall of 2018. A fabric collection will be launched sometime in 2019. The duo will bring their experience in buying unique, high quality pieces for their clients to a shopping environment at Carmel City Center.

A Lantz Design will feature items sourced from Florence, Italy and flea markets in Paris. Items will include home furnishings, accessories, lighting and rugs with the designer pricing passed on to customers—making good design easily accessible to everyone. The space will also feature a gallery displaying Barry’s works. Buying with their clients in mind, styles will range from traditional, modern, contemporary and transitional.

“I am excited to move our business to Carmel City Center and continue the relationship we have with Pedcor Companies,” Amanda said. “Their vision for fashion, art and architecture align with our vision for A Lantz Design and we are excited to experience the urban environment at Carmel City Center.”

Occasional special events will be planned featuring new artists, jewelry and more. Customers will be able to shop at A Lantz Design Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday hours will vary.

“A Lantz Design will bring an element of home design and furnishing shopping to Carmel City Center that is a perfect complement to the current mix of businesses. We are excited to have one of our longtime tenants expand and grow their business into a retail component and we are so happy that it will be at Carmel City Center,” said Melissa Averitt, senior vice president at Pedcor Companies.

A Lantz Design will be located on the interior plaza level of Carmel City Center in the Baldwin & Chambers building at 800 S. Rangeline Road, Veterans Way, Suite 250. Surface parking is available on plaza level (accessible from City Center Drive), in the underground garage (accessible from Range Line Road as well as City Center Drive) and in the Veterans Way garage.
