Beauty + Grace - new ownership, new location at Carmel City Center

Carmel City Center’s, beauty+grace, is under a new ownership team and opened their doors in a new larger location just a few doors away from the original location. Maintaining all the designers that customers have come to love, the new beauty+grace is building on that foundation with additional designers, and the addition of a full fashion and portrait photography studio. They call this fashion + photography.

The new beauty+grace features an exclusive private+collectionsTM experience for VIP shoppers. The private+ collectionsTM experience is an on-site, by appointment only privately curated collection showroom, designed for shoppers who seek brands not found locally. The new beauty+grace will feature weekly events and full-scale runway shows bringing the intimacy of designer trunk shows and the Fashion Week experiences of New York, LA and your favorite European cities directly to its customers. They call this idea events+fashionTM.

Beauty+grace’s original owner, Jenni Meyers, sold the business to a team led California native, and Michigan settled, Amber Rae, who also owns a fashion boutique and photography studio in storied Milford, Michigan. “There are so many people to thank for helping me live my dream. It takes a village—an unbreakable support system, loyal friends, amazing family, and a supportive local community to live out your dream. I am so honored and happy to pass the store to Amber, who will continue to grow and build beauty+grace even bigger than it is now,” said Meyers.

Under the new ownership, beauty+grace will be a fusion of fashion, photography, and styling that Amber brings from a career of over 20 years as an awarded nationally recognized photographer by trade and fashion consultant by career.

Beauty+grace photography business focuses on women in business/lifestyle executive portraits, senior portraits, seductively-styled portraits for women, and local or destination lifestyle wedding portraits. All the subjects of which, are individually styled by Amber and her team. It is this element of styling and the fusion of fashion that sets her work apart from other photographers. Beginning with the initial consultation Amber uses the subject’s personality, sense of style, home decor, and intended placement of the final images in the home, to create a customized look, styling and setting for the shoot.

The empowerment of Women and a celebration of confidence are the driving forces that fused the fashion boutique and photography studio. “I believe everyone possesses an inner beauty that I am able to capture. It is my passion to empower each person that steps in front of the lens, lets me into their home, or sets foot into my shop,” says Amber. “I am thrilled to meet the Carmel community, and be a part of the synergy at Carmel City Center.”

Customers can shop at beauty+grace Tuesday-Saturday, 10am-5pm, and Sundays through the holidays, 12pm-4pm. The private+collectionTM showroom and photography sessions will be available by consultation appointment with Amber - please contact the store directly for an appointment.

A reopening celebration is planned for December 14, 2018.

Beauty+Grace is located on the interior plaza level of Carmel City Center at 719 Hanover Place. Surface parking is available on plaza level (accessible from City Center Drive), in the underground garage (accessible from Range Line Road as well as City Center Drive) and in the Veterans Way garage.
