Studio Series presents top Central Indiana talent in casual club setting
Friday, December 6, kicks off new local-music series at the Studio Theatre, part of The Center for the Performing Arts at Center Green. This new Studio Series presents top Central Indiana talent in a casual club setting. This Friday's doubleheader begins at 8 p.m. with singer-songwriter Brett Wiscons and Sarah Grain and the Billions of Stars, both original-music acts popular at Indianapolis venues as well as festivals and public events throughout the state.
The black-box Studio Theater is the most intimate of the Center’s three venues and can be set up in a variety of configurations, from 200-person seating to an entirely open space. All events will feature a cash bar and free parking in the adjacent Center Garage off 3 rd Avenue SW.
Upcoming performances in the Studio Series include: Feb. 29 – soul/R&B vocalist Allison Victoria and her band April 4 – funk-jazz-rock band 800 lb. Gorilla May 30 – Indy-rock band Veseria

Wiscons is a nationally touring performer who has shared stages with Darius Rucker, Zac Brown Band, Katy Perry, Big Head Todd & the Monsters, Collective Soul, Tonic, LeAnn Rimes, Kellie Pickler, Shawn Mullins, Hootie the Blowfish and other artists. Sarah Grain and the Billions of Stars have performed their blend of folk, rock, jazz, rich vocal harmonies and Latin rhythms at leading Indianapolis venues and at events including Tonic Ball, Virginia Avenue Folk Fest, Indy Folk Fest, Feast of Lanterns, Indy Parks’ Summer Concert Series and the Earth Day Indiana Festival.
Studio Series concerts are part of the 2019-20 Center Presents Season sponsored by Allied Solutions.
