'James K. Martin' facility honors former CFD cheif

Retired Chief James K. Martin dedicated his career to the citizens of Carmel since 1960. He continues to play an active role in public service by maintaining apparatus at the Carmel Fire Buff's Museum.

The Carmel Fire Department has honored him by opening the James K. Martin maintenance facility. Engines 345 and 346 were officially welcomed into the CFD fleet with a traditional apparatus wet down.
