New restaurants and wine bar provide additional places to gather in Carmel

The IBJ reports new and continued business in Carmel in respect to eateries along with a new wine bar. Despite closing their own restaurant in Zionsville, Patrick Mullen and Beth Dickerson will continue to operate Patrick’s Smokehouse Kitchen at Danny Boy Beer Works in The Village of West Clay. Not only that, but they are looking to add a possible brunch by the end of January. Matt the Miller’s Tavern has expanded to the opening of Matt’s Wine Bar. The second floor of the former Langton’s was transformed for the wine bar, which offers open seating and 24 premium wines that can be sampled in 2-, 4- and 6-ounce pours. Bar Louie plans to expand to its newest location at 1111 W. Main St. in Carmel. The restaurant will be part of the $30 million Olivia on Main development.
