'Breadtastic'
Danielle Rothchild collects bread tags. Yep. But what she does with them is amazing. She has collected nearly two million bread tags. What does she do with them all? Well, with a couple thousand of them, she made a dress and accessories which are on display at the Children’s Art Gallery this month.
The rest she has turned into cash as part of her nonprofit group “Danielle Cares for Chairs” which uses this money to buy wheelchairs for those in need.
You can see her creations at the Gallery every Friday and Saturday in February from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Sundays from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. It will also open during the Carmel Arts & Design District’s Gallery Walk on Feb. 10 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
