CFD Firefighter appreciated for going above and beyond

A nice note from a very satisfied member of our community. Firefighter Will Mueller is a wonderful example of our firefighters continually raising the bar for customer service. Big thanks to Will for taking care of our community!

Hi there -

Thank you so much for taking my call this morning. I wanted to send a note of thanks and praise to Will Mueller at Station #44. This weekend our son Hudson celebrated his two year birthday. He is a fire truck fanatic and we have always admired Station 44. We love the big red doors.

On a whim we decided to take a trip to the station in the hopes of snapping a photo of Hudson in front of those big red doors. We rang the bell to the station to ask permission to do so, and Will answered. He went above and beyond with our ask!

He took our family on a tour, let us explore the trucks and garage and educated us on the inner workings of the station. He made a two year old's birthday wish come true. We were blown away by Will's attention and "customer service" to our entire family, and I wanted to be sure and sing his praises.

I am sure you feel fortunate to have Will as a part of your team, but wanted to echo that in how fortunate we feel that he answered the door for us yesterday. I have attached a picture that says it all!
