Exciting announcement for Carmel Symphony Orchestra

The Carmel Symphony Orchestra (CSO) has been invited to accompany multi-platinum Grammy winners Amy Grant and Michael W. Smith during their holiday concert at Bankers Life Fieldhouse on Monday, December 2, at 7 pm.

The seven-city 2019 holiday tour follows a highly successful 2017 Grant/Smith tour that sold out in venues across the country. Each concert features participation by a locally based orchestra that will accompany the duo as they perform selections from their own award-winning holiday albums. Carmel Symphony Orchestra was chosen based on its reputation for excellence and experience working with the likes of Michael Feinstein.

Executive Director Jeanelle Adamak commented, “We are pleased that the CSO’s music director, Janna Hymes, has elevated the CSO to such a high level of musicianship that artists like Amy Grant, Michael W. Smith and Michael Feinstein seek the CSO as their preferred orchestra.”
